A bribery probe and a money-laundering case collide when ICAC investigator William Luk is suspended after a model accuses him of taking a $12 million bribe. Louis Koo is Luk, trying to clear his name as Julian Cheung’s JFIU chief inspector Lau Po-keung follows a financial trail that runs through a bank manager, a gangster, and a wider corruption network. As the two investigations converge, Hong Kong’s anti-corruption system turns inward, with Kenny Ching from the Internal Investigation Group examining Luk while intelligence from China points to officials far above the street-level operators.
