Thelma & Louise
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller130 min
Thelma, a bored Arkansas housewife, and Louise, a waitress who knows exactly why they need to leave town, set out on a weekend fishing trip that turns into a run for the border after a stop at a roadhouse ends in a killing. Geena Davis is Thelma, initially hesitant and then increasingly bold; Susan Sarandon’s Louise keeps the cash, the map, and the plan moving as police close in. Ridley Scott follows their escape across bars, motels, and desert highways, where every detour brings another problem — including a young drifter who briefly changes the math.
