Stay as You Are

The story

Marcello Mastroianni is a married Roman landscape architect whose affair with a much younger college student upends the uneasy balance of his home life. Nastassja Kinski brings an elusive edge to the young woman, as what begins as an illicit romance becomes tangled with memory and the possibility that she is tied to his past. The story moves between apartments, hotel rooms, and family spaces, keeping the pressure on a man caught between marriage, desire, and a question he can’t ignore.
