Shaft
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeMystery111 min
When FBI analyst and MIT-trained cybersecurity expert JJ Shaft starts digging into his best friend’s sudden death, the search pulls him into Harlem’s heroin trade and back toward the father who was absent for most of his life. Jessie T. Usher is JJ, working from tech, evidence, and an FBI badge, while Samuel L. Jackson’s John Shaft charges in with old-school methods and an agenda of his own. Their investigation becomes a father-son collision, with JJ’s careful approach rubbing against Shaft’s street reputation as they move through a New York underworld neither of them can navigate alone.
