Buddy

The story

A brave girl and her friends are trapped inside a children’s television show, where singalong lessons, bright sets, and familiar routines start twisting into something menacing. Cristin Milioti and Michael Shannon appear alongside Keegan-Michael Key and Topher Grace as the kids search for a way out of a world built from forced smiles and TV-friendly cheer. The film borrows the look of classic kids programming—catchy songs, simple moral beats, oversized artificiality—then turns that closed-off space into a horror setup with a sci-fi streak.
