Dumped just before her 100-day anniversary, Ha Ji-won’s Ha-young has an even worse day when a kicked can hits a college student in the face and leaves a scratch on his Lexus. That stranger is Hyung-joon, one of the film’s lead roles opposite Ji-won, and he immediately demands $3,000 in damages. From that accident, the story locks Ha-young into an uneasy connection with an arrogant, well-off young man who seems determined to make her pay. The setup turns a breakup, a debt, and a chance encounter into a South Korean romantic comedy built on bruised pride and constant friction.
