Escape

CrimeDramaMysteryRomanceThriller104 min

In pre-World War II Nazi Germany, an American learns that his mother is being held in a concentration camp and sets out to get her out before the regime closes every door around them. What begins as a personal rescue quickly turns into a dangerous struggle against surveillance, bureaucracy, and people who profit from fear. As he searches for allies and a way into the camp system, every contact carries risk, and any mistake could expose both his plan and the woman he is trying to save. With Robert Taylor and Norma Shearer folded into this tense escape attempt, the story mixes family desperation, political danger, and a romance shadowed by the Nazi state.
