In the slums of Mexico City, a band of boys moves through theft, fights, and nights with nowhere safe to go, and Pedro starts to lose his grip on right and wrong as the others pull him deeper into their violence. Alfonso Mejía is Pedro, a kid trying to stay separate from the street’s code even as it closes around him. With Roberto Cobo and Estela Inda in the ensemble, the film stays close to the neighborhood’s children and families, where neglect, poverty, and everyday brutality shape nearly every choice.
