Shahrzad and the man she loves are pulled toward marriage, but the chaos after the coup gives a wealthy, connected patriarch room to impose his own will on their lives. What begins as a romance turns into a struggle over loyalty, class, and survival, as family pressure and backroom influence close in from every side.
