The Fable
Drama119 min
In the late 1980s in the Himalayas, a fruit grower’s life begins to unravel when mysterious fires keep tearing through his orchards. Manoj Bajpayee is the man at the center of the crisis, struggling to stop the outbreaks as each new blaze threatens his livelihood and points him back toward long-buried truths about his family and his own past. Priyanka Bose and Deepak Dobriyal are part of the tightening circle around him as suspicion spreads and the mystery deepens. The story stays grounded in mountain villages, family history, and the uneasy question of what’s fueling the destruction.
