Where Is the Friend's House?

ActionAdventureDramaFamily83 min

After accidentally taking his classmate’s notebook home, an 8-year-old boy sets out across neighboring villages in rural Iran to return it before school the next day, fearing his friend will be expelled. Babek Ahmedpoor is the determined child at the center, following scraps of directions from adults who are distracted, dismissive, or only partly helpful. What begins as a small mistake turns into a long search through narrow lanes, hillside paths, and unfamiliar homes, with the rules of school and the routines of village life pressing in at every stop.
