The Invite
ComedyDramaRomance108 min
Joe and Angela’s marriage is already fraying when they invite their enigmatic upstairs neighbors over for dinner, and a simple attempt to reconnect turns into a night of confessions, shifting alliances, and old resentments. Seth Rogen and Olivia Wilde are part of the tightly wound central quartet, alongside Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton. As the conversation veers from flirtation to accusation, the film keeps its attention on the small power plays, private grievances, and social niceties that start to curdle once everyone is seated at the same table.
