Sonja and the Bull

ComedyRomance103 min

A city activist heads into the Croatian countryside to stop a bullfight and runs straight into the people who see the event as part of their way of life. What begins as a protest turns into a standoff between urban politics and village custom, with Sonja stranded among locals who do not share her values. As she tries to hold her ground, she is drawn into uneasy alliances, arguments over tradition, and a relationship that further scrambles the lines she arrived with. The comedy comes from that collision: stubborn beliefs, cultural mistrust, and a cause that gets messier the longer she stays.
