Vijay Sethupathi is Dass, a small-time kidnapper who treats abduction like a business and follows one hard rule: never target anyone influential. When three jobless young men join his crew for a payout, they ignore that rule and snatch the son of a politician, turning a quick scheme into a scramble to stay ahead of the fallout. As the pressure closes in, a relentless policeman enters the chase and the crew’s careful plan starts to unravel. Nalan Kumarasamy’s film keeps its underworld setup loose, sly, and sharply tuned to the absurdity of bad decisions piling up.
