As a comet breaks apart on its way to Earth, John Garrity races to get his family to a possible sanctuary before panic and closed borders shut every route. Gerard Butler is John, a father trying to reunite with his estranged wife and keep their son moving through a country tipping into chaos. Morena Baccarin’s Allison is forced into the same fight for survival as airports clog, highways lock up, and emergency alerts turn neighbors into rivals. With news reports showing cities destroyed by falling fragments, the story stays close to one family’s scramble through checkpoints, shortages, and rapidly shrinking options.
