The Last Showgirl
Drama89 min
Pamela Anderson is Shelly, a longtime Las Vegas showgirl whose world shifts when the glittering revue she has headlined for decades announces it will close. In her fifties and staring at an uncertain future, Shelly has to figure out what comes after the stage while reckoning with the choices she made for the life she built there. The film stays close to her ties to the women around her, the showgirl community that became her family, and the strained relationship with a daughter who often came second. Jamie Lee Curtis is part of Shelly’s worn, sequined Las Vegas orbit.
