Mr. Duck Steps Out

AnimationComedyFamilyRomance8 min

Donald Duck drops by Daisy’s house for their first date, expecting a quiet visit and finding himself in a rivalry instead. Clarence Nash’s excitable Donald barely has time to flirt before Huey, Dewey, and Louie trail him inside and start competing for Daisy’s attention themselves. What begins with shy signals at the door turns into a jitterbug showdown, with uncle and nephews trying to outdance and outmaneuver each other in Daisy’s living room. The short builds its comedy around Donald’s vanity, his temper, and the escalating slapstick that follows once the boys decide they’re part of the evening too.
