The Severed Sun
Horror80 min
Magpie lives under her father’s authority in an isolated church community where sermons govern daily life and dissent carries a cost. Emma Appleton is Magpie, whose killing of her abusive husband is followed by whispers of a white-eyed Beast moving through the forest. As fear spreads after the murder, suspicion settles on her and old loyalties begin to crack. Toby Stephens’ Pastor tries to keep his congregation in line, but paranoia, hypocrisy, and talk of evil in the woods push the community toward a violent witch hunt.
