Hotel Chevalier

DramaRomance13 min

Jason Schwartzman is Jack Whitman, alone in a Paris hotel room when a woman from his past calls to say she’s on her way over. When Natalie Portman’s unexpected visitor arrives, their reunion unfolds in fragments, with old intimacy and unresolved tension surfacing through guarded conversation, small gestures, and the confines of the room itself. Directed by Wes Anderson, the film serves as a prologue to The Darjeeling Limited and keeps its focus tightly on an encounter where the terms of the relationship never stay settled.
