A Man Called Otto

ComedyDrama126 min

Otto Anderson is a widower whose days are defined by rigid routines, neighborhood complaints, and a determination to keep everyone at a distance. Tom Hanks is Otto, a blunt, isolated man whose carefully ordered life is interrupted when a lively family moves in next door. Mariana Treviño’s Marisol, quick-witted and very pregnant, refuses to be put off by his hostility, turning small encounters into an unlikely back-and-forth. As the family keeps pulling Otto into everyday problems, the film moves between present-day clashes and glimpses of the marriage and loss that shaped him.
