Velu is a tea-shop worker whose life is upended when his 9-year-old daughter is sexually assaulted during a festival by two influential upper-caste men. Yogi Babu is the father pushing the case into the open, even after people he trusts try to bury it. With his daughter (Srimathi) at the center of the fight, Velu turns to a small circle of Marxist-leaning friends and takes on a system built to protect the powerful. Shan’s film frames one family’s search for justice through caste, community pressure, and the costs of refusing silence.
