A Walk in the Woods

ActionAdventureComedyDrama104 min

After two decades in England, travel writer Bill Bryson returns to the United States and decides the Appalachian Trail is the best way to reconnect with the country he left behind. Robert Redford is Bryson, setting out on the 2,000-mile hike with an old friend, brought to life by Nick Nolte, whose company comes with plenty of baggage from the past. What begins as an ambitious trek turns into a test of stamina, patience, and long-held grudges, with the pair meeting rough terrain, fellow hikers, and the limits of what they can actually handle on the trail.
