Gatta Kusthi
ComedyDramaRomance144 min
Veera has rigid ideas about marriage: he wants a quiet, obedient wife who fits his narrow picture of womanhood. Vishnu Vishal is the groom whose plans go sideways when he unknowingly marries Keerthi, a sharper, more educated woman with a secret of her own. Aishwarya Lekshmi brings that double life into focus as Keerthi hides the fact that she’s an accomplished wrestler, keeping up a careful charade inside her new home. As the marriage settles in, domestic comedy and friction build around gender expectations, family pressure, and the world of gatta gusthi, the submission-wrestling sport at the story’s center.
