At a secluded sanatorium for wealthy women, the patients live under strict supervision while their illnesses, rivalries, and obsessions simmer behind closed doors. The routine turns deadly when a masked killer begins stalking the wards and murdering the inmates one by one, turning the institution into a trap. As fear spreads, suspicion falls across the staff and the women themselves, and every corridor, bedroom, and treatment room becomes part of the hunt. Klaus Kinski appears amid the chaos in this 1971 Italian psychosexual thriller directed by Fernando Di Leo, where desire, paranoia, and violence keep tightening around the survivors.
