The Lake House

DramaFantasyMysteryRomance99 min

Architect Alex Wyler moves into a glass-walled house perched over a lake and finds a note in the mailbox from its former tenant, a doctor named Kate Forster. Keanu Reeves is Alex, the house’s new resident, while Sandra Bullock’s Kate seems to have moved on from the place already. As they keep writing, they discover they’re living two years apart, connected only by the mailbox and a correspondence that grows increasingly intimate. What begins as a strange exchange of letters turns into a romance shaped by crossed timelines, missed encounters, and the mystery of how two people can be so close and still separated by time.
