Anna Katharina Schwabroh is Laura, a young medic aboard the rusty space freighter Kassandra, bound for Station 42 with a crew that spends the journey in hibernation. Laura is the only one awake, facing months of routine checks and isolation until she discovers that something else is on the ship. Martin Rapold and Regula Grauwiller are part of the small ensemble around her as the mission shifts from lonely watch duty to a closed-quarters mystery. The film keeps its focus on the freighter itself: industrial corridors, frozen sleepers, and the long silence of deep space.
