New Police Story
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaThriller123 min
In Hong Kong, Inspector Wing (Jackie Chan) hits bottom after a thrill-seeking gang kills his entire unit, leaving the decorated cop disgraced and drinking himself numb. When the case resurfaces, Wing finds an unlikely ally in Nicholas Tse’s Frank, a rookie partner with his own troubled past and a stubborn belief that the fallen officer can still do the job. As they work back toward the gang’s leader, Joe (Daniel Wu), the story recasts Chan’s veteran cop as battered and unraveling, with the investigation pushing through grief, revenge, and close-quarters fights.
