The Butterfly Effect

DramaSci-FiThriller120 min

After years of blacking out traumatic moments from his childhood, a young man discovers he can return to those memories, inhabit his younger self, and try to rewrite what happened. Ashton Kutcher leads the story as the adult version of that troubled kid, while Amy Smart and Eric Stoltz are among the people tied to the memories he keeps revisiting. Each attempt to fix one event sends his life down a different path, turning suppressed memories, therapy, and first love into a chain of altered futures with consequences he can’t control.
