Return to Me

ComedyDramaRomance116 min

Recently widowed architect Bob Rueland is talked into a blind date at a busy Irish-Italian restaurant in Chicago, only to find himself drawn to someone else entirely. David Duchovny is Bob, still moving through grief when he meets Grace, the sharp, funny waitress who lives in the middle of a loud, affectionate family circle. Minnie Driver gives Grace a grounded sweetness, and Carroll O'Connor is her grandfather, who runs the restaurant with his brother-in-law. Between neighborhood regulars, family dinners, and hesitant first steps toward something new, the film follows two strangers whose lives begin to overlap in unexpected ways.
