Will Smith is Nicky, a veteran con artist who schools newcomer Jess in the mechanics of misdirection, pickpocketing, and long-game scams. As the mentor-student relationship turns romantic, he cuts her loose — only for Margot Robbie's Jess to reappear years later in Buenos Aires, now polished, unpredictable, and moving through the high-stakes racecar circuit. With Nicky in the middle of another intricate job, their history starts interfering with the work, blurring the line between seduction, rivalry, and professional deception.
