The Man with Two Brains
ComedyRomanceSci-Fi93 min
Steve Martin is Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr, a brilliant brain surgeon whose orderly life goes sideways after he marries the glamorous Dolores Benedict. Kathleen Turner's Dolores turns out to be far more calculating than Michael expects, and his home life becomes as unstable as his operating room is controlled. Then an even stranger complication arrives: Michael finds himself drawn to a disembodied, talking brain. Carl Reiner directs the film as a gleefully off-center mix of romantic farce, lab-bred absurdity, and Martin’s deadpan style, with David Warner adding another dose of oddball science to the chaos.
