Brokeback Mountain
DramaRomance134 min
In 1960s Wyoming, ranch hand Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) and rodeo cowboy Jack Twist, with Jake Gyllenhaal bringing an open, restless energy to Jack, take a summer job on Brokeback Mountain and begin a relationship they cannot openly name. As the years pass, both men marry and start families, but the connection forged during that season continues to shape their lives in private and in silence. Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway appear as the women caught in the space between duty, secrecy, and a bond neither man can leave behind.
