Blue Thermal

AnimationAnimeComedyDramaRomance103 min

Tamaki’s world shifts the first time Kuramochi takes her up in a glider, turning the open sky into something vast and newly irresistible. Mayu Hotta is at the center of the Japanese voice cast, with Nobunaga Shimazaki alongside her, as the film follows Tamaki deeper into the discipline and exhilaration of flight and the changing relationships around it. Blue Thermal blends gentle comedy and romance with carefully observed aerial sequences, paying close attention to wind, height, and the sense of freedom that arrives when Tamaki leaves the ground.
