A young man from rural Turkey arrives in Istanbul hoping to find work on a ship and ends up staying with a cousin whose own life has stalled. Muzaffer Özdemir and Mehmet Emin Toprak are the two men at the center of the film, sharing an apartment as the search for work drags on and small frustrations begin to harden between them. What starts as a temporary arrangement becomes an increasingly awkward coexistence, shaped by unemployment, disappointment, and the widening gap between two relatives who can’t quite live together or connect.
