Deceiver
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller106 min
After a prostitute is found murdered, police bring in a fast-talking suspect whose gift for storytelling turns a routine interrogation into a maze. He admits to pieces of the night, dodges others, and keeps shifting between confession, performance, and bait. As detectives push for a clear account, the case widens into a study of lies, class, and power, with every answer raising a new doubt about what really happened in that hotel room. Tim Roth is the man at the center of it, trading verbal feints with investigators played by Chris Penn and Michael Rooker as the questioning grows more personal and more dangerous.
