The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc
ActionAdventureDramaWar158 min
In 1429, a peasant teenager arrives before the French king with a startling claim: God has chosen her to save a divided France and defeat the army threatening it. Milla Jovovich is Joan, moving from village girl to battlefield figure as visions, religious conviction, and royal politics collide. Around her, John Malkovich is part of the wavering court she has to win over, while sieges and strategy give way to mounting scrutiny from nobles and clergy.
