The War in Space
ActionAdventureSci-Fi91 min
In 1988, just as Earth recovers from a near collision with a comet, a far larger threat arrives: an alien army backed by seemingly unstoppable warships. Kensaku Morita and Yûko Asano are part of the human response as the crisis shifts from planetary emergency to open conflict in space. Made in Japan, the film leans into tokusatsu-scale spectacle, combining invasion-movie stakes with command-center tension, model work, and a late-1970s idea of future technology.
