A supermarket car-sharing scheme keeps throwing assistant manager John Redmond and promotions rep Kayleigh Kitson into the same small space: the daily drive to and from work. Each trip starts with ordinary chatter about shifts, traffic, family, and the radio, but the routine keeps opening into awkward confessions, petty disagreements, and moments of unexpected closeness. Outside the car, their jobs and home lives keep pressing in; inside it, they build a private rhythm full of detours, misunderstandings, and running jokes. With Peter Kay and Sian Gibson at the center, the series follows how a practical lift arrangement slowly complicates both of their carefully settled lives.
