Monkey Man
ActionAdventureCrimeThriller121 min
Dev Patel is Kid, an anonymous young man scraping by in an underground fight club, where he puts on a gorilla mask and gets beaten bloody for cash. After years of buried anger and childhood trauma, he finds a way into the world of the city’s powerful elite, the people tied to what was taken from him. Inspired by the legend of Hanuman, the story follows Kid from back-room fights and scarred hands into a campaign of retribution aimed at a corrupt inner circle, with Pitobash and Sharlto Copley among the figures around him.
