The Long Game
DramaFamily110 min
In 1957 South Texas, five Mexican-American teenage caddies are barred from playing at the country club where they work, so they build a one-hole course in the fields and form a team of their own. Based on a true story, the film follows their route through segregated Texas toward the state championship, with Julian Works among the boys at the center and Jay Hernandez and Cheech Marin in the adults around them as golf becomes a way to challenge the line between those allowed on the course and those expected to stay on the sidelines.
