L'Eclisse

DramaRomance126 min

In Rome, a young woman drifts out of one relationship and into the orbit of a self-assured stockbroker she meets amid the noise and frenzy of the market. Their affair begins as a fresh start, but the more time they spend together, the more distance and uncertainty creep in. Everyday places—apartments, streets, trading floors—turn into spaces where connection keeps slipping away. Monica Vitti and Alain Delon anchor a romance shaped as much by pauses, absences, and restless city life as by desire itself. As the relationship moves forward, the film watches what grows between them and what never quite can.
