The House

AnimationComedyDramaFamilyFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller97 min

A mysterious house ties together three stories unfolding in different eras: a poor family drawn toward a promise of comfort, an anxious developer trying to make the place desirable, and a fed-up landlady dealing with difficult tenants. Told in intricate stop-motion, the film keeps returning to the same uncanny address as its rooms, décor and atmosphere shift around each new set of occupants. Voices from Mia Goth and Matthew Goode help shape a world of dollhouse interiors, dry humor and mounting unease, where the building keeps suggesting it has its own plans for the people inside.
