The Siege

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThrillerWar116 min

After a secret U.S. abduction of a suspected terrorist sets off a wave of attacks in New York City, Denzel Washington is an FBI senior agent trying to track the cells behind the bombings before more violence follows. His investigation keeps colliding with Annette Bening’s CIA operative, whose loyalties are hard to read, and with Bruce Willis’s Army general, whose response to the crisis raises the stakes inside the city as much as outside it. Part manhunt and part government power struggle, the film follows competing agencies as fear, surveillance, and force begin to shape the search.
