It’s 1986, and a long-simmering feud between Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham erupts inside Britain’s booming television business, where career moves, private affairs, and social standing are all part of the same contest. David Tennant and Alex Hassell head a sprawling ensemble as executives, socialites, and hangers-on maneuver through boardrooms, bedrooms, and country-house circles. Aidan Turner and Katherine Parkinson are among the figures pulled into a world of oversized ambition, public image, and personal vendettas, with 1980s gloss coating every slight and deal.
