The Last Voyage of the Demeter

FantasyHorrorThriller118 min

A merchant ship bound from Carpathia to London becomes a trap when something onboard starts stalking the crew after nightfall. As the Demeter crosses open water with fifty unmarked wooden crates in its hold, fear and suspicion spread through the vessel with each new attack. Corey Hawkins and Liam Cunningham are part of the ship’s increasingly desperate company, with Aisling Franciosi and David Dastmalchian among those caught in the mounting panic. Drawing on the Dracula myth in an 1890s seafaring setting, the film keeps its focus on the crew’s shrinking chances of surviving the voyage.
