Late Night with the Devil
Horror93 min
On Halloween night in 1977, a live late-night talk show tries to goose its ratings by bringing an allegedly possessed girl on air, and the broadcast starts slipping into something far darker. David Dastmalchian is at the center of the on-camera chaos, with Laura Gordon and Ingrid Torelli among the faces pulled into the night’s escalating spectacle. Framed through the language of live television, found footage, and documentary-style material, the film turns a studio full of skeptical hosts, experts, and performers into the site of a public unraveling, as what begins like a stunt plays out in front of a national audience.
