McCabe & Mrs. Miller

DramaWestern120 min

In an early-1900s Washington boomtown, a drifter named McCabe arrives with a reputation as a gunman and a knack for spotting money in rough places. He sets up a brothel and saloon, then brings in Mrs. Miller, a sharp British madam who knows how to turn his ramshackle scheme into a thriving business. As the town grows, so does their uneasy partnership, built on mutual need rather than trust. Warren Beatty and Julie Christie play two people trying to carve out a place on the frontier while larger forces close in. When powerful interests move to buy McCabe out, a shaky enterprise becomes a fight he may be badly unprepared for.
