The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

ActionAdventureDramaFantasy179 min

The Fellowship has splintered, and the mission to destroy the One Ring now unfolds along separate paths across Middle-earth. Elijah Wood is Frodo Baggins, making for Mordor with Sam and the untrustworthy Gollum (Andy Serkis), while Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli pursue the orcs who carried off Merry and Pippin. As Saruman gathers his forces at Isengard and Sauron’s shadow spreads, the story moves through Rohan’s battered plains, Fangorn Forest, and the growing threat around two towers: Orthanc and Barad-dûr. Peter Jackson’s second film shifts between pursuit, war councils, and siege as the quest widens into open conflict.
