Ford v Ferrari
ActionAdventureDocumentaryDrama153 min
Ford hires car designer Carroll Shelby to build a machine that can beat Ferrari at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Shelby turns to British driver Ken Miles to help make it happen. Matt Damon's Shelby understands both the engineering and the boardroom pressure; Christian Bale's Miles brings stubborn brilliance behind the wheel. As the team races to design and test a new car, the job becomes a fight with Ford executives, mechanical limits, and the strain that follows Miles home. James Mangold keeps the focus on the partnership at the center of a 1960s showdown between American ambition and Ferrari’s dominance.
