The Devil's Double
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThrillerWar109 min
Latif Yahia is forced into Saddam Hussein’s inner circle when he is ordered to become the body double for Uday, the dictator’s volatile son. Dominic Cooper takes on both men, tracking Latif’s transformation as he is trained to mimic Uday’s voice, habits, and public image while moving through palaces, parties, and armed security in Iraq. The film frames the Hussein household through that impossible arrangement, with Latif trapped between the privilege of proximity and the danger of impersonating one of the most feared figures around him.
